Donations
The annual Mother’s Day plant sale at the Polk County fairgrounds is the main fundraiser for Polk County Master Gardeners Association. Donations may also be made by individuals directly to our chapter using this site.
Funds are used to cover these expenses and more:
- The 7-acre demonstration garden at Inspiration Garden in Independence, OR
- Funding of scholarships for horticulture students at Chemeketa Community College
- Support for the Dallas Youth Garden
- Expenses for raising fruits and vegetables donated to Food Banks
- Various internet based instructional resources for the community
Click a green “Donate” button to choose an amount to donate to our chapter’s general fund, supporting our ongoing mission and community outreach, using a credit card. Or, you may specify a particular Polk County Master Gardener project to support with your donation by entering your intent under the Additional information /Order Notes (optional) section of the Checkout Page when you finalize the donation transaction.
For example: you could enter “My donation is specifically for Inspiration Garden“. The treasurer will then be able allocate your donation as directed by your note.
Polk County Master Gardeners Association is a 501 c 3 organization. You will receive confirmation of your tax deductible contribution upon check out of your online transaction. Donations may also be made with checks payable to PCMGA and mailed to:
